As people in public service we know what a difference it makes when we elect leaders who have our backs. We deserve leaders who respect our work and that is exactly why our AFSCME Council 18 Statewide PEOPLE Committee has endorsed the following candidates for the 2022 primary and general election. Our endorsed candidates not only share our values, but have shown time and time again that they will alway put New Mexico's working families first.
Below is our AFSCME Council 18 2022 Endorsed Candidates as of today, this list includes primary and general election endorsed candidates. More endorsements to come for the general election.
If you requested an absentee mail ballot, please complete and return as soon as possible. If you prefer to vote in-person, you can early vote in-person through Saturday June 4, or you can vote on Tuesday, June 7, from 7am - 7pm. In-person early voting is already underway, expanded in-person early vote locations begin on Saturday May 21.
